Youths In Balaclava was established in 2015 and the original collections were small lines of graphic t-shirts adopting titles such as Traitors 2 Society and Twisted Paradise. The ideology behind these collections is a social commentary around the rigid culture of Singapore. Decorative embellishments and designs are inspired by the collective's favourite musicians and artists. The members that make up YIB are the first Singaporean fashion collective to really make an impact on contemporary fashion. Youthful and creative the group are the perfect representative of the ever-growing fashion community of Singapore.
