Robin Chretien is the founder and designer of Robin's Jeans. He was born in Lyon, France into a creative environment, with his mother a talented fashion designer and father an artist, they also encouraged their sons creative endeavors and dreams, which is exactly what he did. At just age fourteen his passion for denim was born, having purchased his first pair of jeans that were of a vintage patchwork design. Robin moved to Los Angeles and instantly fell in love with the state. Arriving in 1996 his skill, charm and talent soon won over the people within the best denim companies. It was Robin's attention to the new fabrics, innovator washes and nuanced details that made him a rising star in the industry.
Robin was fascinated with the native Americans, the spirit that embodied warriors and their fight for freedom. Along with this passion for motorcycles, vintage cars and old school cinemas, this soon became his inspiration for a new brand, the one he was eager to produce from a young age. In 2005, his dream has started to become reality. Robin's Jeans was created, the brand is symbolized by a set of 'wings'.
Robin states 'I came to the United States because I love the US. I make jeans because it's always been my dream to make jeans in the country that I love, it's my dream come true, where better to make jeans then Los Angeles when your brand has angel wings?'
For those who don't know California is also know as the 'City of Angels'
