Off-White was founded in 2012 by Virgil Abloh, who was born to Ghanian parents in Rockford, Illinois. Virgil gained notoriety after establishing his well-known blog ‘The Brilliance’ whilst he was at university. Following graduation, he worked at Fendi, impressing Louis Vitton CEO Michael Burke. And would go on to become the artistic director of the Louis Vitton menswear collection.
Since its launch, the Off-White for men collection has been responsible for a plethora of irreverent satirical designs that are controversial, but truly represent the connection the youthful generations have to pop culture. The collection includes an extensive range of stylish men’s clothing, accessories and footwear and the signature arrows design is instantly recognisable when you see it.
