Get The Outfit: Street Casual
With a bank holiday weekend that, for many, involved gale force winds, hail so hard it could almost break glass and the tremendous fun of looking like a drowned rat after spending any extended time outside, you could almost forget that spring has arrived, and summer isn’t long off… allegedly. Having been cooped up in enormous coats all winter, many of us are now opening our wardrobes and staring in horror at what befalls us. Last year’s duds aren’t going to fly; a new season demands a style refresh and, with the longer evenings and double May bank holiday, we’ve all got a little bit more time on our hands to flex our casual fashion chops. Retro Red Sportswear
For cooler summer days, there’s nothing better than a tracksuit for ultimate casual comfort. But why settle for just comfort when you can look cool as hell too? Fashion has been full of nineties throwbacks recently, and this outfit showcases one of the best. Brand new for summer 2019, Matt is wearing Kappa’s Red Banda tracksuit, comprised of turtleneck track top and slimline sweatpants. The matching pair feature a majority red design, broken up with the Kappa branding brand in black and white down the sides of the arms and legs. The tape style branding is super on trend and creates a great contrast with the shocking red backdrop.
Completing the look, Matt is wearing the brand new Running 9 trainers from AMI Paris. Luxurious and opulent, these trainers are constructed from leather and suede and are lightweight, functional, comfortable and above all will score you serious style points. The design is capped off with the brand’s AMI logo embroidered to the heel. So whether you’re an avid sports fan or you just like they’re outfits, this is the perfect ensemble for a casual, chilled out summer day. You can grab the Kappa Track top here for £55.00, the Kappa Track Bottoms here for £45.00 and the AMI Paris trainers here for £365.00.
Chic Casual Daywear
If you’ve not got many plans, you’re just out and about, seeing where the day will take you, it can be difficult to decide what to wear. After all, your outfit choice could preclude you from some activities, and you don’t want to limit yourself! But don’t worry, we think we’ve cracked the perfect versatile casual daywear outfit that can handle anything you throw at it. You could be chilling out in the park and hours later sidle into a swanky bar and you’d have no trouble. Kicking off, our model Ellis is wearing a white knit jumper from Kenzo, perfect for those chilly spring days. As usual, Kenzo aren’t afraid to pack a punch with their design. Emblazoned across a pure white backdrop, a languishing tiger relaxes in front of some bamboo with the Kenzo logo embroidered above in black, sitting atop a red banner. It’s an eye catching design that is sure to turn heads and, as such, the rest of the outfit is kept chic and simple.
Ellis is wearing jeans from True Religion, cut in their signature ‘Rocco’ relaxed skinny style with a light blue cotton blend and significant distressing to the front. The brand’s signature horseshoe embroidery features on the back pockets, as well as the brown leather belt tag. You can’t say much about jeans, but these are stylish, smart and fashion forward all rolled into one and the perfect companion to the gloriously loud and out there Kenzo jumper.
In terms of accessories, Ellis is rocking a leather Valentino wallet featuring a black design with a white V monogram to the front. It has two card slots and a larger slot to the reverse, making it as functional as it is fashionable. The Valentino logo is engraved to the reverse of the wallet. We’ve also included an exquisite watch from Versace which is comprised of a luxurious calf leather strap in a deep blue colour, complimented by a silver and blue clock face, completed with the famous Grecian Versace branding, Medusa looming at 12 o’clock. On an otherwise fairly simple outfit, these ultra luxurious, high end accessories help to push the whole look to another level.
The look is perfected with the inclusion of these beautiful, crisp, white and simple trainers from Axel Arigato. The sleek white design is punctuated only by the most subtle branding stamp to the side of the shoe, glimmering with metallic foil so it’s just visible. These trainers are so smart that you could probably get away with them anywhere. Perfect for a day of surprises!
