Brand Breakdown: Dsquared2
July has been an eventful month for fashion. With the cancellation of the menswear and Houte Couture Paris Fashion Shows post-February, it was about time for some good news . Milan’s Summer Fashion Week has just finished and it was a digitised success!
To celebrate, we’re returning to our Brand Spotlights. This week: DSQUARED2. This Brother2Brother favourite scored a slot on Thursday at Milan’s Fashion Week, premiering its pre-spring/ summer 2020/21 collection. What an achievement. We’re proud to feature an exclusive range of the Canadian brand’s luxury designer jeans, sweatshirts, t-shirts as well as all the latest footwear and accessories.
We kicking things off with a tribute to the infamous duo themselves – Dean and Dan Caten. If it wasn’t for their drive and creativity, we wouldn’t be able to bring you these bold print designs.
The twins hit the runway hard in 1995 with such an extravagant performance of luxury sports fashion that journalists couldn’t look away. Global celebrities wanted a piece of the action, and really, who can blame them. That’s what we call courage.
Dean and Dan split their time between London and Milan while their brand continues to thrive internationally, featuring their iconic pieces right here at Brother2Brother. Keep doing what you’re doing.
If you’re on the hunt for a pair of classic white trainers, we recommend Dsquared2’s Mirror Logos. These ideal casual trainers are designed with a low-top tennis designer and front lace closure. Once again, Dsquared2 has switched up the logo style to create a more dynamic finish with the mirror effect on the side panel. Sleek and simple. Can’t beat it.
Dsquared2 have got you covered next festival season with their ICON jersey shorts. Also available in white, this style is perfect for summer lounging. Complete with front and back pockets either side, you’ll discover the real meaning of luxury when you slip into these cotton shorts.
