Behind The Brand | Blood Brother
Founded in 2011 by London College of Fashion friends Nicholas Biela and James Weller, British fashion brand Blood Brother aims to create cutting-edge men’s clothing, footwear, and accessory collections. Originally started as a t-shirt label, the brand developed into a global lifestyle brand consisting of not only t-shirts but also detailed outerwear including jackets, knitwear, sweats, and joggers.
With unique, detailed pieces including signature logo t-shirts, the brand aims to bridge the gap between contemporary fashion and streetwear. Other signature pieces include men’s sweatshirts and joggers all featuring bold visual printing with fine embroidered tailoring create a premium streetwear piece.
With the brand still rapidly growing with currently over ninety stockists worldwide it was also featured alongside London’s best designers at London Fashion Week: Men. Branding has also been boosted by worldwide media coverage globally plus celebrity following including the likes of global music artists Migos, Krept and Notes as well as other brand collaborations including River Island and Guinness.
With the SS’18 collection is now available featuring different designs and unique pieces. Oversize t-shirts, print tracksuits as well as car graphic t-shirts.
Founders Nicholas Biela and James Waller – both graduates of the London College of Fashion – who, having honed their repertoires over the past 6 years, have together under Blood Brother created a brand new breed of men’s sartorial streetwear apparel.
Met playing the for the same football team during college the designers come up with an idea for a t-shirt brand. Initially, with quirky graphic t-shirts, the brand evolved into more everyday menswear. With Nicholas studying graphic design at college and James previous working experience working with Diesel – this would have certainly helped the brands rise.
