As one of the most prestigious designer brands in the fashion industry, here at Brother2Brother we are proud to announce the addition of Balmain to our ever-growing brand portfolio of high-end brands from AW19.
Originally founded in 1945 by fashion designer Pierre Balmain with the brand's first house opening in Paris. Born with fashion heritage, Balmain’s father owned a drapery business whilst his mother and sister owned a fashion boutique where Pierre would often work in. Initially starting his collection with popular post-war long bell-shaped skirts with small waists, the brand quickly found themselves running alongside Dior in fashion. Early admirers of the brand helped popularity grow even more with the likes of the Duchess of Windsor who ordered from the collection. After expanding his operations to countries such as Australia and the United States, Pierre Balmain won the prestigious Neiman Marcus Fashion Award later that year in 1955 whilst not long after chosen to design outfits for the Queen Sikirit of Thailand in her 1960 tour of the United States.
After Balmain’s death in 1982, the brand has seen a succession of different creative directors at the helm including the likes of Oscar de la Renta who was in charge between 1993 and 2002 bringing a new outlook to the brand whilst maintaining the house founder’s tradition. Today the brand is run by creative director Oliver Rousteing who has taken the brand to new heights using his popular social media connections and traditional runway shows to add youthfulness to the latest Balmain menswear collections.
Our Balmain Paris menswear collection features an extensive range of all the latest clothing from the designers AW19 collection. Our selection of Balmain jeans includes the popular Balmain biker jean which is heavily influenced by motorcycle trousers cut from a washed Japanese denim. Why not match a pair of Balmain biker jeans with one of the designers signature Balmain t-shirts. Cut from a sleek slim fit cotton in various colours, our Balmain t-shirts feature a Balmain logo graphic print to the centre often in a contrasting metallic finish. With a wide selection of Balmain clothing available, we ensure you’ll find something right for you.
